Email Comps & Signatures

What do you do with all your email comps? I use windows mail for my email and have set up a signature which includes my n&a and telephone number. Every time I create a new email it will automatically include my personal details and all I need to do is address the email, add a subject and click send.

Multiple Identities

I'm on about RoboForm again, but then it is a godsend. How to display more than two identities at a time? You'll find it in RoboForm > Options > Toolbar and change 'Number of My Identity Buttons' to All or the number that you want to display. Hope you find the tip useful.

AutoHotKey

Do you find it annoying when RoboForm declares that there is no form to fill well don't despair 'AutoHotKey' is the answer. It will work with any browser for the sites which RoboForm doesn't work on eg. when a comp entry form is a Flash animation. Set it up with your personal information, assign Alt + a number key to represent your name and address. You can download this software free of charge at the AutohotKey website. Hope you find it useful.

Whew, I’ve been really busy the past couple of days coming to terms with my new computer and vista. Transferring data over and installing software isn't always as straightforward as you would hope. Take Roboform, worked absolutely fine with XP and reactivating the Pro version with Siber Systems was a doddle but vista's high level security wasn't playing. 'Setting the correct file permissions (Vista Only)' in 'RoboForm Options > User Data' did the trick. By the way do you use RoboForm for auto filling - you should it makes online comping easy. Use the Roboform link on this page to transfer to their site and read all about it.
